I have been working on some bits and bobs lately and here is a wee peek at one of the images, I am looking forward to working on them some more and trying to be a bit more active in the whole art thing. Life has been a bit tough with my fair share of ups and downs and my leg is still not fully healed. It has held me up in a lot of ways, but I am trying not to let it! December 11, 2012.

Thursday, January 09, 2014. Communication Arts 4th Typography Competition. These days, there are quite a few competitions in the design world for us illustrators and hand letterers to enter and showcase our work and be judged by industry peers - some of them being serious industry heavyweights. Is one of the big ones.

Picture Hooks presents its annual conference for illustrators, now in its fifth year, hosted by the Central Library in Middlesbrough. Vivian French, recipient of the Scottish Book Trust Outstanding Achievement Award.

A series of collaborations of illustrators and writers exploring the relationship of text and image. A text and image are exchanged and work developed from each.
